I'm the proud father of two great kids and have been married to the most amazing and supportive woman for over 10 years now.   I try to spend as much time outdoors as possible.    I love to ride my bikes, whether it's on  road, in a time trial, or riding the single track on the mountain bike.  Sometimes i even ride the unicycle.    

 I obtained my Ph.D. in theoretical physics from The University of Western Ontario.  The emphasis of my graduate work was directed toward studying excitations in several magnetic materials.   After completing my graduate degree I worked as a postdoc at Memorial University of Newfoundland.    I then moved to Minneapolis and worked as a design and testing engineer in the magnetic storage industry.

I've recently relocated to the Chicago area and am working at Knowles as a Test Technology  Development Engineer.    I'm slowly becoming an expert in Comsol Multiphysics and electro-acoustic simulations.
